UNITA My 3min PhD Thesis - 2026 edition

UPPA PhD students, take up the challenge of UNITA “My 3-min PhD Thesis”!

The challenge is the following: summarise your research work in 3 minutes, in English, so that everyone can understand it, regardless of their background.

This competition offers an exceptional opportunity to present your research in a concise and captivating way to a non-specialist audience.

Why participate?

  • To improve your scientific communication skills through intensive training.
  • To represent UPPA in an international UNITA competition.
  • To learn how to captivate the attention of a diverse, non-expert audience.

A complete programme to support you:

To help you meet this challenge, a dedicated 10-hour training course is available:

  1. Online (7 hours) : between March 30 and April 30, to develop your scientific communication skills with experienced trainers.
  2. Local final (3 hours) : on May 12 in Pau in front of a local jury. Two finalists will then be selected to represent UPPA.
  3. UNITA final : between June 29 and July 3, compete against finalists from our European partner universities in Brescia, Italy.
