A New Visual Identity for E2S UPPA

Refocusing

After three years of development, the I-SITE project team neede to clarify the positioning of its brand E2S UPPA, in connection with the communication strategy of the University.

 

E2S UPPA is a child brand for the member institutions of the I-SITE consortium. It is dedicated to partnerships in the field of energy and environment.

All project holders of partnership innovation projects of the supporting institutions, UPPA, INRAe, Inria, CNRS (the consortium), are ambassadors of the E2S UPPA brand when it comes to energy and environmental transition.

Rebranding

In 2020, internal workshops have led to the drafting of a “brand platform”, which lists precisely the personality, vision, mission, values and ambition of E2S UPPA.

New communication tools have been developed, starting with a corporate identity and style guide reinforcing the visual identity of the E2S UPPA brand, and a presentation brochure.

The E2S UPPA website has been completely redesigned. Its main target is now E2S’s partner companies and autorities. It is therefore more accessible to everyone: “responsive design” that adapts to all screens (computers, tablets, phones), simplified user experience, clear language, selection of research projects highlighted, content in French as well as in English.

A communication assistant has been recruited in March 2021 in order to implement the recommended measures and to develop the reputation of the E2S UPPA brand.
