Mid-term review of the E2 UPPA project

Mid-term Review of the E2 UPPA Project

07/01/2019

On May 9, 2019, after the external scientific committee session in April, E2S UPPA held its annual general meeting, which was an opportunity to assess the project’s mid-term progress.

Today E2S UPPA supports:

  •     14 chairs including 8 partnerships (2021 objective: 20),
  •     3 hubs: one academic, one partnership and one international partnership (target 2021: 5),
  •     6 scientific challenges, 2 of which are partnership-based (target 2021: 8),
  •     7 technology transfer projects (2021 objective: 9),
  •     22 educational innovation projects,
  •     122 student laureates of the Talent’s Academy scholarship,
  •     Master’s degrees taught in English: 46% of master’s courses (2021 target: 50%).

Two new calls for projects have been launched in 2019: “Seed funding for partnership initiative” for the construction of new partnerships, and “PhD project” intended for teacher-researchers and researchers not yet supported by E2S UPPA and open to teacher-researchers without HDR.

E2S UPPA has started a monthly cycle of lectures as of September 2018. This action will be continued over the 2019-2020 year.

A student challenge, “Imagining the campus of tomorrow”, is organized for the fall of 2019.
